I have set up a community for Oculus Rift users called VR Club whose objective is to introduce Rifters to the virtual world of Second Life. This tour is being held as part of a project for my Second Life Polytechnic course. We’ll be meeting up at the NCI South landing zone as usual at 2:45pm on Wednesday 17 June – Second Life Time. Don’t worry if you can’t dance, your avatar will get an animation from the dance orange! We might even meet some locals! We’ll be teleporting there, visiting the gallery of light sculptures and having a dance on their amazing dance floor. We may even meet the creator Mario and see a special show. This art installation will close at the end of June so take this opportunity to catch this amazing display. A 22nd century playground of whimsy and light shows that look amazing through the Rift. We will visit the fantastical world of LEA15 Light Thoughts. Tour 4 will be a repeat of Tour 3 for those that couldn’t make it. Come and join the fourth tour of the VR Club in Second Life.
